Yearbook Tips
- Make the layout/design simple so it is not confusing which section is after which.
- Backgrounds should be fun, but not too exciting. The excitement will distract readers.
- Make sure the page is not crowded or busy or readers will be confused and will lose interest quickly.
- The poster should be eye catching to get the reader excited and interested in the page.
- Use pictures so keep the readers eye on the page. After reading the readers want a picture to rest their eyes. (Edit the pic if necessary.
- Don’t write huge paragraphs, If you have lots to write first summarize it and write them in sections.
- Make sure all photos are how they should look before entering them on a yearbook page.
- Check and check again. Always look over the entire yearbook at least twice two check for errors and mistakes.
- Be creative and think outside the box. This will make the page stand out and be different. Creativity + Hard work = Great Yearbook Page.
